It's Official...I'm 32 Now. OMG. I'm OLD.
Haha...so, I've had a pretty busy 4 day weekend, shopping, attending the opera, seeing The Faint/Ladytron, renewing my driver's license and hanging out with friends. Ahhhhhh...to be back at work on my birthday. Oh joy.

I'm so glad I didn't have to work today. It's been nice just chillin'. I've been working diligently on my website. I have to do more, but I'm no webmaster so for the stuff that's up there, I'm making some headway.

In other news, Oasis has been banned from playing in China because Noel Gallagher performed at a Free Tibet benefit in 1997.
Chris Brown and Rihanna are still together? Ah, a life of domestic abuse...may both their careers plummet into the loo. I'm no judge, but I saw the picture. That was enough.
Faith No More is slated to reunite this year.
I'm going to see The Faint and Ladytron 4/21 and I'm stoked.
Got a wedding coming up near Austin.
SXSW started today (the film part).

It's been a nice getaway from Houston, good ole Jackson, MS. I know a ton of people thought I was nuts for even coming here considering Hurricane Gustav, but I regret not one second, as I have enjoyed some of the best fried chicken I could possible gobble up and had the best Lebanese food I've had ever. Lots of R&R going on this weekend, but I'm anxious to get home to see Patton.
Here's to my canceled flight this evening. More updates tomorrow upon my return to home.

For some reason this movie just seemed to brush by my collective friends who ARE film enthusiasts and not a single one mentioned how wonderful this film was, despite having Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck. Yes, I have my reservations about both of them, but I can say in earnest that Casey Affleck has surprised me recently, but I must admit, I only possessed these reservations because of his brother. Brad is a hit-miss actor. When he's "hot," he is on fire. You will know when he's in his element and Jesse James is his element. Watch it. It's long, but freakin' watch it.
Nuff said.
